Jean Durjadin, who won the Best Actor Oscar last night for The Artist, will certainly NOT be receiving an Oscar nomination for his next movie, the French film The Players. It opens in France in 2 days.
As the French do the best – ribald movies – The Players is no exception. It is series of short films set around the theme of infidelity. While the chances of it receiving any U.S. release before Jean Durjadin won the Best Actor Oscar were slim to none, the chances have gone up exponentially today.
